What you will do:

Test Planning & Design: Independently develop and maintain functional, regression, UI/UX, and exploratory test cases and checklists based on business and technical specifications
Cross-Platform Validation: Ensure consistent application behavior across various screen sizes, resolutions, and OS versions
Process Analysis: Analyze end-to-end user journeys to identify edge cases, gaps in requirements, logical flaws, and potential risks
Defect Management: Log detailed, comprehensive, and reproducible bug reports in systems like Atlassian Jira. Provide exact steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, environment details, system logs, and visual evidence (screenshots/videos), tracking them through to resolution
Agile/Scrum Experience: Strong communication skills for collaborating closely with developers, designers, and Product Managers
Release Management: Coordinate beta testing cycles and manage test version distribution via platforms such as Apple TestFlight, Firebase App Distribution, and Google Play Console (Internal/Closed Testing)

Cover these essentials:

Professional Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in mobile application testing for both iOS and Android platforms
Mobile OS Fundamentals: In-depth understanding of platform-specific behaviors, Apple iOS Human Interface Guidelines, and Android Material Design principles
Mobile-Specific & Environment Testing: Experience testing push notifications, deep links, biometric authentication, app permissions, camera/file system integration, foreground/background states, and app interruptions. Verify app behavior under various network conditions (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi), airplane mode, and offline states
Application Lifecycle: Testing installation, updates, data migration, backward compatibility, and clean install behavior
API & Backend Verification: Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS communication, WebSocket payloads, status codes, request/response structures, and JSON format. Practical experience using tools like Postman to ensure mobile-to-server data integrity
Network Proxies & Debugging Tools: Ability to intercept and inspect mobile network traffic using tools like Charles Proxy or Fiddler. Familiarity with capturing and reading mobile crash logs using Xcode Organizer, Android Logcat, or Android Studio
Database Testing: Basic capability to execute SQL queries to verify data persistence and backend updates
Documentation Tooling: Proficiency in writing test documentation, test cases, and checklists utilizing Atlassian Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
Language Skills: Excellent professional proficiency in English (both written and verbal)

Even better if you possess the following:

Test Automation: Experience in mobile test automation using frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify high-value automation scenarios and effectively analyze automated test execution results.
